Social Media Manager with Events and PR Expertise
We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager with extensive experience in events and PR, particularly within the lifestyle brand sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing accounts in hospitality, luxury fashion, real estate, and other lifestyle brands within an agency setup.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates across various platforms.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Manage social media calendars, scheduling posts, and ensuring timely delivery of content.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and conversations relevant to the brand and industry.
- Plan and execute events, including product launches, brand activations, and influencer gatherings, to drive brand visibility and engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to secure press coverage and collaborations
- Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to garner positive media attention for the brand.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and creative, to align social media and PR strategies with overall brand objectives.
- Analyze social media and PR performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media, events, and PR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Social Media Manager, with a focus on lifestyle brands in an agency setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in event planning and execution, including managing budgets, vendors, and logistics.
- Strong understanding of PR principles, including media relations, press release writing, and crisis management.
- Outstanding communication skills, adept at crafting compelling content and narratives.
- Proficient in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative thinker with an eye for detail, able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about lifestyle brands and industry trends.
