Social Media Manager with Events and PR Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager with extensive experience in events and PR, particularly within the lifestyle brand sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing accounts in hospitality, luxury fashion, real estate, and other lifestyle brands within an agency setup.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates across various platforms.
  2. Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  3. Manage social media calendars, scheduling posts, and ensuring timely delivery of content.
  4. Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and conversations relevant to the brand and industry.
  5. Plan and execute events, including product launches, brand activations, and influencer gatherings, to drive brand visibility and engagement.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to secure press coverage and collaborations
  7. Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to garner positive media attention for the brand.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and creative, to align social media and PR strategies with overall brand objectives.
  9. Analyze social media and PR performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and campaigns.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media, events, and PR.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Social Media Manager, with a focus on lifestyle brands in an agency setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in event planning and execution, including managing budgets, vendors, and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of PR principles, including media relations, press release writing, and crisis management.
  • Outstanding communication skills, adept at crafting compelling content and narratives.
  • Proficient in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for detail, able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about lifestyle brands and industry trends.

 

Additional Information

  • This position may require occasional travel for events, client meetings, and industry conferences.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate events and social media campaigns.
  • Portfolio or examples of past social media campaigns, event activations, and PR initiatives may be requested during the interview process.
